This page will tell you a little more about me, the author of this site.  My name is Kaitlyn and I am a 5th-year college student trying to find her way through the foodie world.  I have a passion for cooking, nutrition, people and my pets (photos at the end because you know you wanted to see them).

Cooking and food have always been an important part of my life, since I grew up in an Italian family.  Food was always at the center of what we did, whether it was holiday celebrations or just stopping by to say hi.  My grandmother would always tell me “Manga, manga!”, which means “eat” in Italian.  So naturally, cooking is something I love.  However, living with my husband has presented a new challenge:  cooking for two.  I hope you will enjoy my posts, and struggles, and hopefully build a better meal.
